Extremely rare work by the founder of the Christian Philosophy, W.S. Sololiev, who was one of the most prominent figures in Russian literature, art, poetry and philosophy on the verge of the 20th century.
He had profound influence on following generations of Russian thinkers and writers, e.g. the Symbolists and Modernists and is today still considered as one of the most intriguing and inspiring figures in Russian cultural history.

“Russia still has not abandoned the meaning of its existence, it has not renounced the faith and love of its younger years.[…] For truth is a type of benevolence, and benevolence knows no envy.”

The strengthening of the Russian idea was reinforced after the Russian / Turkish war (1877/78)
The two opponents were defined by their religions, Islam and Christianity.
